Cie Chara is a Moroccan-German dance company based in Casablanca, founded by Yassine “Yoriyas” Alaoui Ismaili and Friederike “Frieda” Frost with the vision of creating dance theatre with local dancers, inspired by moroccan culture, everyday life and street dance cultures.

Each creation tells through a unique, urban, and artistic approach the inspirations, observations and personal experiences in Morocco, of tradition and modernity, cultural heritage and today’s happenings, combined with the indivudual perspcetives of the dancers and choreographers.
